Workflow

The ARMS Armory Management System includes a built-in queuing system that enables database records to be placed into queues that relate to workflow that needs to be performed, such as:

  > weapons cleanings

  > weapon test firings

  > weapons maintenance

  > weapons inspections

  > officer certifications

  > armory audit

Weapon, gear, ammo and personnel records can be placed into workflow queues by armory staff utilizing ARMS software and/or records can be automatically queued based on standing rules and policies.

Records remain in workflow queues until adjudicated, and then are automatically removed.  Each record adjudicated updates chain-of-custody audit records in ARMS software with the workflow that occurred, the time and date of the workflow and the person performing the workflow.
