Network Lightstack / Alarm
Network Lightstack / Alarm devices are supported by the ARMS Armory Management System to trigger alerts if weapon(s) or any object(s) in an armory are removed in an unauthorized manner. The device connects directly to the network at any physical location(s) appropriate for security breach notification.
The lights and alarm are triggered based on security protocols and business rules, such as:
> Weapon approaches armory exit, but ARMS software indicates that the weapon’s custody has not been transferred to an authorized person;
> Weapon approaches an unauthorized exit;
> Weapon approaches an exit at an unauthorized time;
> Weapons is detected at an armory exit without simultaneously detecting an authorized person’s RFID identification tag.
The lightstack and/or alarm can be triggered based on any business rules desired. External alarms can also be triggered independently of lightstacks.
