Pin # Personnel Validation

For organizations that do not elect to utilize ID cards as method of personnel authentication, personnel can be required to enter a personal identification number to initiate a weapon, gear and/or ammo issue or return.

ARMS software maintains a database table of personnel, including personnel PIN #’s, enabling personnel authentication through personnel entry of identification number. Most typically a touch screen computer is placed outside of an armory at issue/return windows and/or at an armory doorway, so that security personnel are able and required to enter their identification number prior to weapon, gear and/or ammo issues or returns.
